Review Policy

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, it is Reviews of a Reading Addict. Since I got started as a blogger, I have found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me and sharing it with the world. With each passing day, Reviews of a Reading Addict gains more followers, and with that, even more success.

I am currently accepting select Adult and Young Adult novels.

I accept print ARCs, eARCs, finished copies, and audiobooks.

If the book is a part of a series, then I may need the previous books.

GENRES

I  accept Adult and YA fiction in the following genres:

• Fantasy

• Fairy tale/myth retellings

• Dystopian

• Short story compilations

I am NOT accepting books in the following genres:

• Non-fiction

• Poetry

•  Sci-fi

ACCEPTING BOOKS

I will make every effort to read and review a book in a timely fashion and with regard to release dates. I prefer to receive a book 4-6 weeks prior to when you would like the review posted.

REVIEWS

I will write a review for every book I finish. However, if while reading I feel that this book does not blend well with what I usually read or is something my followers will not be interested in I will not review it.

If that is the case I will immediately contact the author and/or publisher that gave me the book so we can discuss possibly doing something else to promote the novel such as an author interview or a preview of the novel.

I write fair and honest reviews. My reviews are my opinion, and if I don’t enjoy a book then my review will reflect that.

With that said, I always try to explain my dislikes objectively, acknowledging that others opinions may differ from my own without in any way being disrespectful to the novel or it’s author.
